Summary: Post Thanksgiving Dinner, photo albums and blackmail
They were relaxing in the den after Thanksgiving dinner. Grandma Martha and Aunty Helga had put together a meal that had everyone but Mama Clark just wanting a long nap in front of the TV. Clark wanted to go through Connor's photo albums. Connor thought it had something to do with the fact that Connor was now working as a Titan.
Who knew that Kryptonians were just mother hens at heart?
"And this is Connor's unofficial birth announcement photo. Wasn't he the cutest thing?" Clark handed the laminated clipping from the National Enquirer to Tim Drake.
"He was so tiny!" Tim exclaimed and wondered if Clark would miss a photo or two.
"Mommmm!" Connor protested. He hated it when Mama Clark pulled out the photo album. His only saving grace was that Dad had absolutely refused to pose him naked on a bearskin rug.
"But Connor. Roland did such excellent camera work. And you looked great in all of that goo!"
"Doesn't Aunt Chloe have photos of you from high school lying around somewhere? I think I remember Dad mentioning something about a homecoming tiara?"
Clark was suddenly reminded of the first time he noticed the resemblance between Connor and Lex. Connor had been four and negotiating an extension of his bedtime using purely Lexian arguments that Clark couldn't counter.
"Your Aunt Chloe promised she'd never show those photos to anyone." Clark's voice went very quiet.
"Don't worry, Mom. I'm sure we can work something out."
