This is a moderated membership community, but all members have posting access.

Many of us create alternate universes that take on lives of their own. We invite others to play with us in those universes. From time to time a story comes along that needs to be told by more than one person and it's more convenient to tell those stories as works in progress.

This community is designed to make it easier to track the new parts of those works.

As of 9/21/06, posts to this community shall be limited to fiction or cover art by members who are engaged collaborative works of fanfiction. No single author works are allowed. Works within an established alternate universe in which the original author is also a member of the community and can provide feedback and guidance will be allowed as an exception.
